Sviluppi in serie di Mac Laurin di alcune funzioni elementari

Riportiamo qui di seguito lo sviluppo in serie di Mac Laurin di alcune funzioni elementari con il termine complementare di Peano. Alcuni sviluppi sono stati calcolati con Wolfram Alpha.

1.- Sviluppo della funzione esponenziale:

\[e^{x}=1+x+\frac{x^{2}}{2!}+\frac{x^{3}}{3!}+…+\frac{x^{n}}{n!}+o\left ( x^{n} \right )\]

\[a^{x}=e^{x\, ln\, a}=1+x\, ln\, a+\frac{\left ( x\, ln\, a \right )^{2}}{2!}+\frac{\left ( x\, ln\, a \right )^{3}}{3!}+…+\frac{\left ( x\, ln\, a \right )^{n}}{n!}+o\left ( x^{n} \right )\]

2.- Sviluppo della funzione logaritmo:

\[ln\left ( 1+x \right )=x-\frac{x^{2}}{2}+\frac{x^{3}}{3}-…+\left ( -1 \right )^{n-1}\frac{x^{n}}{n}+o(x^{n})\]

3.- Sviluppo della funzione ad esponente reale $\displaystyle \alpha$, $\displaystyle \alpha \in R$:

\[\left ( 1+x \right )^{\alpha }=1+\alpha x+\frac{\alpha \left ( \alpha -1 \right )}{2!}x^{2}+…+\binom{\alpha }{n}x^{n}+o\left ( x^{n} \right )\]

Per $\displaystyle \alpha =-1$ si ha:

\[\frac{1}{1+x}=1-x+x^{2}-x^{3}+…+\left ( -1 \right )^{n}x^{n}+o\left ( x^{n} \right )\]

\[\frac{1}{1-x}=1+x+x^{2}+x^{3}+…+x^{n}+o\left ( x^{n} \right )\]

Per $\displaystyle \alpha =\frac{1}{2}$ si ha:

\[\sqrt{1+x}=1-\frac{x}{2}+\frac{1\cdot 3}{2\cdot 4}x^{2}-\frac{1\cdot 3\cdot 5}{2\cdot 4\cdot 6}x^{3}+…+\left ( -1^{n} \right )\frac{1\cdot 3\cdot 5\cdot …\cdot (2n-1)}{2\cdot 4\cdot 6\cdot …\cdot (2n)}x^{n}+o\left ( x^{n} \right )\]

4.- Sviluppo delle funzione goniometriche: 

y = sen x:

\[sen(x)=x-\frac{x^{3}}{3!}+\frac{x^{5}}{5!}-…+\left ( -1 \right )^{n}\cdot \frac{x^{2n+1}}{(2n+1)!}+o\left ( x^{2n+1} \right )\]

y = cos x

\[cos(x)=1-\frac{x^{2}}{2!}+\frac{x^{4}}{4!}-…+\left ( -1 \right )^{n}\cdot \frac{x^{2n}}{(2n)!}+o\left ( x^{2n} \right )\]

5.- Sviluppo delle funzione goniometriche: y = tan x, y = cot x, y = sec x, y = cosec x

y = tan x.-  Lo sviluppo in serie di Mac Laurin della funzione y = tan x non è notevole, anche se esiste uno sviluppo in cui compaiono i numeri di Bernoulli .
Per ottenere lo sviluppo in serie della tan x si può partire dalla sviluppo in serie di Mac Laurin della funzione – ln (cos x)

\[-ln(cos\, x) =\frac{x^{2}}{2}+\frac{x^{4}}{12}+\frac{x^{6}}{45}+\frac{17}{2520}x^{8}+\frac{31}{14175}x^{10}+o\left ( x^{10} \right )\]

da cui, derivando termine a termine per il teorema di derivazione delle serie di potenze, si ha:

\[tanx=x+\frac{x^{3}}{3}+\frac{2}{15}x^{5}+\frac{7}{315}x^{7}+\frac{62}{2835}x^{9}+o\left ( x^{10} \right )\]

y = cot x:

\[cot\, x=\frac{1}{x}-\frac{x}{3}-\frac{x^{3}}{45}-\frac{2}{945}x^{5}+o\left ( x^{6} \right )\]

y = sec x:

\[sec\, x=1+\frac{x^{2}}{2}+\frac{5}{24}x^{4}+\frac{61}{720}x^{6}+o(x^{7})\]

\[cosec\, x=\frac{1}{x}+\frac{x}{6}+\frac{7}{360}x^{3}+\frac{31}{15120}x^{5}+o\left ( x^{6} \right )\]

6.- Sviluppo delle funzione goniometriche inverse:

y = arcsen x

\[arcsen\left ( x \right )=x+\frac{x^{3}}{2\cdot 3}+\frac{1\cdot 3\cdot }{2\cdot 4\cdot 5}x^{5}+…+\frac{1\cdot 3\cdot 5\cdot …\cdot (2n-1)}{2\cdot 4\cdot 6\cdot …\cdot (2n)(2n+1)}\cdot \frac{x^{2n+1}}{(2n+1)!}+o\left ( x^{2n+1} \right )\]

y = arccos x:

\[arccos\, x=\frac{\pi }{2}-x-\frac{x^{3}}{6}-\frac{3}{40}x^{5}-\frac{5}{112}x^{7}-\frac{35}{1152}x^{9}+o\left ( x^{9} \right )\]

y = arcotan x

\[arctan\left ( x \right )=x-\frac{x^{3}}{3}+\frac{x^{5}}{5}+…+\left ( -1 \right )^{n}\frac{x^{2n+1}}{(2n+1)!}+o\left ( x^{2n+1} \right )\]

y = arccot x

\[arccot\, x=\frac{\pi }{2}-x+\frac{x^{3}}{3}-\frac{x^{5}}{5}+…-\left ( -1 \right )^{n}\frac{x^{2n+1}}{2n+1}+o\left ( x^{2n+2} \right )\]

7.- Sviluppo delle funzione iperboliche (Teoria):

y = senh x: 

\[sinh\left ( x \right )=x+\frac{x^{3}}{3!}+\frac{x^{5}}{5!}+…+\frac{x^{2n+1}}{(2n+1)!}+o\left ( x^{2n+1} \right )\]

y = cosh x:

\[cosh\left ( x \right )=1+\frac{x^{2}}{2!}+\frac{x^{4}}{4!}+…+\frac{x^{2n}}{(2n)!}+o\left ( x^{2n} \right )\]

y = tanh x:

\[tanh\, x=x-\frac{x^{3}}{3}+\frac{2}{15}x^{5}-\frac{17}{315}x^{7}+\frac{62}{2835}x^{9}+o\left ( x^{10} \right )\]

y = coth x:

\[coth\, x=\frac{1}{x}+\frac{x}{3}+\frac{2}{15}x^{5}-\frac{x^{3}}{45}+\frac{2}{945}x^{5}+o\left ( x^{6} \right )\]

y = sech x:

\[sech\, x=1-\frac{x^{2}}{2}+\frac{5}{24}x^{4}-\frac{61}{760}x^{6}+o\left ( x^{7} \right )\]

8.- Sviluppo delle funzione iperboliche inverse:

y = asenh x:

\[arcsenh\, x=settsenh\, x=x-\frac{x^{3}}{6}+\frac{3}{40}x^{5}+…+\left ( -1 \right )^{n}\frac{(2n)!}{4^{n}\left ( n! \right )^{2}(2n+1)}x^{2n+1}+o\left ( x^{2n+2} \right )\]

y = acosh x:

\[arccosh\, x=settcosh\, x=1+\frac{x^{2}}{2}+\frac{x^{4}}{24}+\frac{x^{6}}{720}+\frac{x^{8}}{40320}+o\left ( x^{10} \right )\]

y = atanh x:

\[arctanh\, x=setttanh\, x=x+\frac{x^{3}}{3}+\frac{x^{5}}{5}+…+\frac{x^{2n+1}}{2n+1}+o\left ( x^{2n+2} \right )\]

y = acoth x:
